What services do you help with/provide?
Health 2 You is all about bringing health and care to where people most need it. We are a home and community therapy company that offers Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Therapy support to clients of all ages and health conditions. What areas do you service?
Our team continues to grow as we provide more and more help to people where they most need it, in their homes and in their communities. At present we support people across the Melbourne metropolitan area and some rural areas. Can I use my private health insurance?
Yes, depending on your fund and level of cover, our treatments may be able to be claimed on your private health insurance. We recommend you contact your private health fund to find out more or one of our team for further details of the services we offer to ask your private health fund if these are covered.
Do you support NDIS clients and can I use my NDIS funding?
Health 2 You assists many clients with therapeutic supports under their NDIS plans. Our Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy services are funded through your Improved Daily Living category of your Capacity Building budget. Our Therapy Support service may also be funded through this category or from your Core Supports budget, depending on how you would like to allocate your funds. Please feel free to discuss how a Therapy Support Assistant could be used to maximise your therapy outcomes and use of your NDIS funding. Please note that we are not a registered NDIS service and can currently only support plan- and self-managed participants.
Are you a registered NDIS service provider?
We are not currently NDIA registered and therefore can only support self- and plan-managed participants at this time.
Do you have a wait period for new clients?
Generally, we don’t. We work very hard to see new clients within a week or two of when clients are referred to us or contact us. However, sometimes it can be a little longer depending on condition or if there is a hold up gathering information to make sure we can best support the client. Do you support TAC, Workcover and DVA clients?
Health 2 You regularly provides therapy services to clients with a number of different funding bodies, including: Transport Accident Commission (TAC), Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA), WorkSafe Victoria, MyAged Care, MND Victoria, MS Australia, and other third-party organisations that support people with disabilities Please feel free to contact our friendly admin team to discuss how we can best support you to implement your funding and optimise your health outcomes.
Do you take on private clients?
Of course, we offer services to a variety of clients including private clients.Our private clients come to us usually following undergoing a surgery, some set back in their health, wanting to maintain independence and continued participation in their community or just wanting to get fitter, healthier and more mobile. Our team specialises in all these areas including looking after family members when family support can sometime be stretched. Do you provide telehealth consultations?
Yes, we offer therapy services in ways it can best support you, whether that be at home, in the community or via telehealth. We have been offering telehealth since we started the business and find it can be great for supporting people alongside their face to face therapy or assisting in keeping people safe in their homes – such as when we are in a Covid lockdown. We also use a number of technology supports to our clients, such as exercise plans, online signature for plans and reporting and a variety of others to make your treatments as effective and smooth as possible for when we are not there with you.
Do you accept treatment in the clinic?
Health 2 You completes treatment sessions wherever they are needed by clients: in their homes, at work or school, in their local communities, online through telehealth options, and at treatment rooms in South Yarra. Our team will discuss the location of your treatment sessions with you based on your needs, goals, and preferences. The location of sessions may change depending on what aspects of your care are being targeted.
